We aim to offer ashtanga and Mysore-style yoga a spiritual home in the Sheffield.
We’ve been teaching yoga since 2004 and are delighted to be able to teach Sheffield folk ashtanga beginners courses, led classes and from 2012, morning Mysore-style classes too.
Here is an update about the classes that we run at Yoga-Sheffield:
We are running our usual timetable and have places in all classes.
Please note however that if you are new to the classes, you will now be required to complete our health questionaire, book and pay in advance for classes.
**NEW** Morning Mysore Classes (Mon/Wed/Fri) from 07:00 onwards, starting on Mon 9th of January at the Hallamshire Tennis and Squash Club, 716 Eccelsall Road, S11 8TA.
**NEW** 6 week Ashtanga beginners course from 18:00 – 19:00, starting on Wed 11th of January at The Old Junior School, Southview Road, Sharrow, S7 1DB.
**NEW** 6 week Ashtanga beginners course from 18:00 – 19:15, starting on Wed 22nd of February at the St Michaels Primary School, School Lane, Hathersage, S32 1BZ.
Our Ashtanga timetable is as follows:
Mon - Ashtanga Yoga at 18:00 - all level (held at The Buddhist Centre, South Road, Walkley)
Mon - Ashtanga orientated body, mind and soul yoga for women only at 19:45 - beginners and returners (held at The Old Junior School, Southview Road, Sharrow, S7 1DB)
Wed - Ashtanga Yoga at 19:45 - all levels (held at Hathersage Primary School, School Lane, Hathersage, S32 1BZ)
Thurs - Ashtanga Yoga at 19:15 - for beginners (held at The Buddhist Centre, South Road, Walkley)
Thurs - Ashtanga Yoga at 20:15 - for intermediates (held at The Buddhist Centre, South Road, Walkley)
Fri - Ashtanga Yoga & Curry Night- full primary series talk through (18:15 - all levels (held at The Buddhist Centre, South Road, Walkley). PLEASE NOTE - this is held once a month for 2012 - 3 Feb, 2 March & 30 March.
Our Hatha timetable is as follows:
Wed - Hatha Yoga at 09:45 - all levels (held at Handsworth Parish Community Centre, Handsworth Road, Handsworth)
